My Bookish Wishlist

I have a wishlist of bookish things I would love to own/wear/look at. :) I assume all book lovers do.

Because I still can't get over Harry Potter enough to pick up anything else and read it yet (seriously! This is becoming so frustrating to me . . . in some ways) I thought I'd share some of the things I think are super cool.

And we'll end with this one, which I feel is appropriate:

Do you have bookish items on your wishlist that you would love to someday own? Care to share? Leave a link in the comment section to the item you are currently eyeing. Or write up your own blog post and share a series of things! (Only don't. I don't think my own list needs to be any longer and what if you share something that I really like?!! Gaah!)

Please note: this list is meant to be fun. Just wanted to share things I think are pretty and would be fun to "play" with!

I'm also in something of a reading funk. I'm in hyper-evaluate our homeschool mode (which translates to lots of online reading), and I'm TRYING to read last year's Newbery, which is just plain old weird. I. Must. Finish. It. This. Weekend. I have to move on to my next IRL bookclub pick--Jane Eyre! :)

I have a golden snitch on my van antenna, and a time turner key chain is on my wish list. The Harry Potter Clue game is really fun. We have the older version where the game board looks like the marauder's map, but I think that Narnia Monopoly might go on my wish list, too.

Fun! I especially love the "Spare Oom" sign. That's what I used to call the room my husband walled off in the garage, but too many people said, "Huh?" I never thought of bookish things as gift ideas, but I might keep this idea in mind for Christmas. :-) How do you go about finding them?

I think my middle son had a Lord of the Rings chess set once.

Remember how a mutual friend sent us an email with a whole bunch of awesome stuff and I had to ignore it because I can't buy anything right now? I feel that way right now!
(I'm particularly ignoring the snitch necklace)
