Welcome to my biblioblog!
My name is Carrie and I wear a lot of different hats: wife, mother, friend, reader, watercolor artist, traveler, etc. This space is all about books. Well, mostly. I share pieces of myself when talking about books so pull up a chair and let's chat!
All of these apply to me but I especially love the one about having to have all the books in a series and the one about not wanting your books to have the movie adaptation covers! I thought I was the only one who had that "rule"! Thanks for brightening my otherwise dreary winter Monday!
I laughed at the not being able to have a conversation without mentioning Harry Potter. The running joke in my book club is that I *always* bring up Harry Potter - to the extent that when I do mention Harry Potter, someone inevitably says, "Well, we got that out of the way for the night!" (-:
Ok, I cannot be blamed for interrupting my husband TWICE within the last 100 pages of the 6th Harry Potter book. It's not my fault he's using an e-reader and I can't tell how close he is to the end!! ;)
And yes, I totally hate books with movie adaptation covers. I don't want to picture the actors acting out the book. I want it to play out in my own imagination, thank you very much.
And yes again, I end up browsing bookcases at everyone else's house. haha

Yep, I think I can relate to about all of these. :-)

Soooo funny, yes, I can relate to most of these.
Bookish Problems #26: YES! Unfortunately, no one around me really understands my book obsession, so they don't feel comfortable feeding it. :P

Why do we identify with all of these? Oh yeah.
Ha, ha!! And you KNOW the one about being frustrated if no one else has read the book and can talk to me about it is perfectly applicable to me! :)
