Nothing it seems. Her heady description of blissful, married life surely must describe desire to lose her single status; it must have been truly unsatisfactory or dreadfully dull, due to her inability to find satisfaction in herself..and life around her! There are millions of women in the world who are perfectly satisfied with their lives, without having to contemplate marriage. Let's not therefore be afraid of living in harmony with others and ourselves, without having to contemplate a life which often is quite miserable
when entered into marriage.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-1156902116548658302006-08-29T18:41:00.000-07:002006-08-29T18:41:00.000-07:00Thanks for your thoughts. But putting everything into perspective, it seems that I did marry at the right time and that I need to appreciate God's time instead of questioning it. Given my current situation, I don't know that I'll read this book right away, but I'll definitely keep it on the back burner.Bhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09964373798194372154noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-1156872384812899092006-08-29T10:26:00.000-07:002006-08-29T10:26:00.000-07:00Great review! Just checked my library online and they don't have it yet, but it definitely sounds like something I want to read. I agree with you whole-heartedly about still needing to read books of all kinds - it's not about a married person reading a singles book so much as it is a Christian reading a book about another path or season of life, which we can all benefit from doing! Keeping your blinders on and focusing on what is going on in your specific season will do nothing for helping you to understand and help other brothers and sisters in Christ.

Great commentary. I agree about the annoyance of so many other approaches different authors have taken to this subject. Sounds like you found a winner.Rosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15517116551921874843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-1156821127121721232006-08-28T20:12:00.000-07:002006-08-28T20:12:00.000-07:00C, great post, enjoyed reading it! Loved the fact that you read it even though you are married and that you still have sympathy for your single friends. :)

Excellent!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-1156814668049324582006-08-28T18:24:00.000-07:002006-08-28T18:24:00.000-07:00P.S.
