First time to comment though.

This was a great reminder of a great lady. I read her earlier book and was impressed with her willingness to get up and make life happen instead of waiting for good things to come. This is going on my must read list also.

PS Your wedding photos are lovely.Margarethttp://inhisfootsteps.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-84887194663427043592010-08-19T13:28:41.234-07:002010-08-19T13:28:41.234-07:00Oh, thanks! I would have to say the Gone With the Wind spoof was my favorite, too!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-70373393612482763152010-08-19T11:21:54.524-07:002010-08-19T11:21:54.524-07:00I also grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show and...I also grew up watching the Carol Burnett Show and loved her and the whole gang! I think I would love this book. I have read her previous memoir, too. Tim Conway always reminds me of the Apple Dumpling Gang. Hmmm... I might need to hunt that down for my kids. The older ones are just starting to understand that kind of slapstick humor.Stephanie Kayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02976709475515458563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-46441577297053552692010-08-19T08:13:30.959-07:002010-08-19T08:13:30.959-07:00She talks a lot about the popularity of Harvey and...She talks a lot about the popularity of Harvey and Tim in this book. And the Gone With the Wind spoof was my all-time favorite, especially the dress she saw in a window and couldn't help herself. :-D
I might have to put this on my TBR list.Barbara H.http://barbarah.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.com
