Married a boy she introduced us parents to for 4 minutes and we have a lovely 2 1/2 year old grand-s0n. But back to the book. I am going to buy the book because for one, i remember loving my parents but maybe not liking them all the time and that is o.k. my mother now lives with me and I have to say I love you to pieces and thank her for serviving my teens. Sadly my dad did not. But now my grandson will have his mom to think she is a nerd when he hits puberty! life is a never ending gift. Don't be afraid of the hard days, they make us better!crosscriddlenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-55927382221422605332012-06-13T13:53:26.924-07:002012-06-13T13:53:26.924-07:00Oh man that is unfortunate! It's such a good idea for the less crafty moms, but they could have at least said "Things I enjoy doing with my family."

My older sister and I had baby books, and I have to admit I LOVE mine, but I try not to make too big a deal out of it because the baby bookkeeping definitely waned as more babies arrived. Understandably, but I wouldn't want to flaunt my privileges in front of my siblings. heeheeBerlinerinPoethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06853762912371387793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-25794280995932281442012-06-13T11:34:10.261-07:002012-06-13T11:34:10.261-07:00I was an avid scrapbooker for a long while, and no...I was an avid scrapbooker for a long while, and now I just to Project Life (though I'm currently behind in even it!) Anyway, I have three baby books that I never completed, so I doubt I'd do a birthday book, either. It's a nice idea, though. :-)Amy @ Hope Is the Wordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07949836482747469686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-63620747906910880512012-06-13T07:04:54.077-07:002012-06-13T07:04:54.077-07:00I tried scrapbooking for awhile right after Grassh...I tried scrapbooking for awhile right after Grasshopper was born, but lost interest pretty quick. ;P These sound perfect for me, other than the teenage angst part.Bluerosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00680170638396181756noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-76851077031087857922012-06-13T07:02:16.012-07:002012-06-13T07:02:16.012-07:00That's too bad. There are definitely struggles as kids grow up, but I detest this idea that teens have to be at enmity with their parents (or at best just tolerate them). Teens and parents can get through those years with love and a good relationship.Barbara H.http://barbarah.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-70875096493198218882012-06-13T06:43:21.041-07:002012-06-13T06:43:21.041-07:00I used to scrapbook too! :) I have a whole chest ...I used to scrapbook too! :) I have a whole chest full of scrapbooks for the first two, and then two scrapbooks for the third and one scrapbook for the fourth and. . .NO scrapbooks for poor number five! That's one of the many functions of my blog. I keep thinking one of these days I'll choose some of the "kid posts" and make a book from them. ;)

I agree with you on the teenage angst questions on this review. There are some challenges to parenting my teens, but for the most part, we have wonderful, wonderful days together.Shonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04310547848215492736noreply@blogger.com
