In fact, I often secretly hope that my 5-year-old will pick one for his bedtime book, because I so enjoy reading them. :) One reason I think my 5yr-old likes them so much is that he could read them himself when he first began reading.

Our (my!) favorite is We Are in a Book.Katrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00358457475010534626noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-8120813317767606072011-09-08T12:43:45.579-07:002011-09-08T12:43:45.579-07:00:D :D Great big grin here, b/c my 3 and 5 year o...:D :D Great big grin here, b/c my 3 and 5 year olds love them too!! I have limited them to checking out only four at a time from the library, and within seconds of our walking into the library door, they are sprawled on their stomachs with one of these books in front of them.

Speaking of libraries, btw, I love our local little library. The librarian is a delight, and they are not so heavily influenced by the ALA, which is such an appallingly liberal organization I'll just stop with that. If we lived elsewhere. . .hmmmmm

And, for my read aloud Thursday, I just have to tell you I am reading Uncompromising (Hannah Farver) aloud with my 14 yos and 15 yod. LOVE, LOVE, LOVING this book!! What delightful conversations and soul-sharing this book is provoking. Thank you!!!! :)Shonyahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04310547848215492736noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-31647067.post-10410185890113445062011-09-08T10:55:02.529-07:002011-09-08T10:55:02.529-07:00My children also find these books hilarious.
