Ok, so. I told my husband that I should probably just buy books at the Friends of the Library booksale once a year and spend the year reading what I've bought. (With the exception of a few things, of course. Ah hem.) It is an even better idea considering the fact that we're in the process of moving and will be storing most of our possessions (including books *gasp*) for a year. Hmm. What to do? What to do? (Besides, of course, never making suggestions like the one above OUTLOUD in front of your husband!)

I'm behind in my reading plan for the year (oh well) and I rarely have time to read anymore. I find that I grow anxious if I haven't had time to read. I go sorta.....crazy....without a book in progress. Semicolon's Saturday Review of Books provides ample encouragement to continue reading. One book a week, Carrie! Come on! I can do it, right?!! Not anymore. But I still try.

So here's a list of books that I am "mad" to read but am not finding the time. Most of these, btw, come as recommendations via the Saturday Review.

Simple Hospitality, by Jane Jarrell
Reading Like a Writer, by Francine Prose
Confessions of a Shopaholic, by Sophie Kinsella
Jack: A Life of C.S. Lewis, by George Sayer
The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
The Birth House, by Ami McKay

And a host of others! The more Saturday Reviews I read - the more I want to read! It's a vicious cycle that has no end...

You're right. It really is a vicious cycle, but I can think of worse cycles to be on.
