Thanks to QOC

QOC nominated me for the Thinking Blogger Award (which, I confess, I hadn't heard about until she nominated me and no, I haven't tried to locate the exact source of the meme).

Here are the rules:

1. If, and only if, you get tagged, write a post with links to 5 blogs that make you think,

2. Link to this post so that people can easily find the exact origin of the meme,

3. Optional: Proudly display the ‘Thinking Blogger Award’ with a link to the post that you wrote (here is an alternative silver version if gold doesn’t fit your blog).

I don't know if I can nominate the person who nominated me or if that would repeat a vicious cycle of blog links, however, QOC would land pretty much near the top of my "Most Visited Blog" heaps. Since I've already linked you to her blog and because she nominated me I guess I won't look back in that direction but will list five people who's blogs I thoroughly enjoy and, quite frequently, make me think!

1. The Journey to Sky

And what a delightful journey it is, too! Sky has been friends for more years than I'm going to try to sit here and figure out. She's a crazy lady though (mother of two young boys) so beware.

2. Amy

Amy was in my law school class. She was the type of student that was so good there wasn't even any point in my trying. She'd whalloped us all and is now mommy to two little girls who I'm certain will grow up to be even smarter than she is.

3. Jennifer, Snapshot

Jennifer I met through Semicolon. She just kept reading and posting these book reviews that sounded intriguing. I had to read them and walla! She posts about more than just books though so hop on over and see what she has to say from time to time.

4. Bonnie

This is a "girl" I grew up with that got me hooked on the idea of a book club in the first place.

5. Bookfest

I know I'm a part of Bookfest, but it's not really MY blog, per se. It belongs to a lovely bunch of ladies (Bonnie included) and I enjoy and learn from all of them. I appreciate being able to read a book together, even though we're thousands of miles a part from one another, and be able to share thoughts on what we've read.

So those are the people I choose to nominiate. If nothing else, they know that I think about them and appreciate their blogging efforts.

Hats off to you!
