I had to stop that . . .

In the middle of Season 3 of Gilmore Girls I realized how little I was reading. So I took season 3 back to the library so as not to be tempted to spend all my free time watching the girls.

Which means I managed to finish 3 books this past. Which means I am feeling a little ashamed of how much time I was spending glued to the television screen. Although my sense of humor greatly enjoyed the time, it really was time to stop and do something a bit more productive.

Wow, would never have pegged you for a GG fan! I'm afraid my guilty pleasure of late is watching Seasons 1-3 of Bones...clearly not the same genre. Oh, and my mom is letting me borrow the Chronicles of Narnia on CD so I can be all caught up by Aug. ;-)

LOL!

My husband and I are currently addicted to watching Season 1 of 24. It *does* eat into my reading time!

Yep--the same thing has happened to me as well (with Gilmore Girls as well). I think that I got up to the 4th or 5th season? I don't know, but I had to stop. I'll go back to it sometime.

I fail to understand how anyone could enjoy that show. It's only enjoyable attributes are the witty one-liners and pop culture references. If you want that, just listen to me comment on my day. But to each her own, I suppose.

It's the witty one-liners.

Love, love, love Gilmore Girls. (unfortunately, it loses a bit as it goes on in the seasons, but enjoy it while you have it!)
