A Book Meme

Here's something I found on Sarah at Library Hospital's blog. Want to play? I tag the whole world. Leave a note if you did the same thing on your blog and I'll go have a look-see.

The basic idea is to list your favorite books from "A to Z". As Sarah did, I listed the books that I had read. If I reviewed it, you can click on the title to read my review. I discovered it's a relatively easy meme, so long as you discount the word "The" as the starting word in several of the titles. Forgive me if it's cheating.

A - Anne of Green Gables, by L.M. Montgomery
B - (The) Blue Castle, by L.M. Mongtomery
C - (The) Complete Fairy Tales of George MacDonald
D - (The) Discipline of Spiritual Discernment, by Tim Challies
E - Emily of New Moon, by L.M. Montgomery
F - From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, by E.L. Konigsburg
G - Grace-based Parenting, by Dr. Tim Kimmell
H - Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World, by Joanne Weaver
I - Iran: Desperate for God
J - Joshua, by A.W. Pink
K - Kilmeny of the Orchard, by L. M. Montgomery
L - (The) Looking Glass Wars, by Frank Beddor
M - (The) Mysterious Benedict Society, by Trenton Lee Stewart
N - (The) Nose Book
O - On the Banks of Plum Creek, by Laura Ingalls Wilder
P - Psmith in the City, by P.G. Wodehouse
Q -
R - Rilla of Ingleside, by L. M. Montgomery
S - Safely Home, by Randy Alcorn
T - Toby Tyler, by James Otis
U - Utah Blaine, by Louis Lamour
V -
W - Washington's Lady, by Nancy Moser
X -
Y - (The) Year of Living Biblically, by A.J. Jacobs
Z -

ARE there any book titles that start with the letter Z?

And can you guess my favorite author? ;)

I love Rilla of Ingleside! I haven't met many people who actually know that book exists. :)

Hmmm, I'm guessing L.M. Montgomery? Hahha. I have such a history with the Anne books. My favorite of all time (:

Oh, I'm totally doing this. I had wanted to post something light for Sunday, and this is perfect!

(I'll come back and read this after I do it. I don't want to cheat. =) )

I love From the Mixed-up Files! I thought about putting on my list, but I didn't want to leave of Frankenstein. I was trying to come up with favorite books from my childhood to plug in my missing letters, but I couldn't come up with anything more.

Well, I made my list. It was fun, but for some bizarre reason it took me a while. I go blank whenever I try to do things like this :)
